Main Components:
Limonene, linalyl acetate, linalool, citral, geraniol, terpenes, and furocoumarins, such as bergapten.

Bergamot essential oil has a calming effect on the mind and spirit. It relieves anxiety, fosters optimism, and boosts self-confidence.

Benefits of Bergamot on the Skin:
Bergamot has an astringent effect, regulating sebum production, making it ideal for oily, acne-prone, and combination skin, as well as for oily scalp treatments.

Precautions:
Bergamot essential oil requires careful use due to its allergenic components and high phototoxicity caused by bergapten content. According to international guidelines, its concentration should not exceed 0.4% in leave-on cosmetics (e.g., massage oils).
