- Independent Thumb Movement:The secret to a professional cut is keeping the top blade stationary while only your thumb moves the bottom blade. The "offset" handle is specifically built for this: it minimizes hand strain and ensures a cleaner, more surgical cut.
- Sculpting with 32 Teeth:Don't just thin the ends. Professionals use the 32-tooth scissor for internal weight removal to create "invisible" volume and support. Because the teeth are dense and fine, it blends seamlessly without leaving visible "steps" or chunks in the hair.
- Finding the "Sweet Spot" Tension:Never cut with a loose scissor. If the tension is too low, the hair will bend between the blades instead of being cut, which dulls the edge and damages the hair cuticle. Adjust the screw until you feel a light, consistent resistance.

- Ergonomic Grip:The "offset" design is meant to keep your ring finger and thumb at a natural angle. Avoid inserting your fingers too deeply into the rings—only up to the first knuckle—to maintain maximum control and flexibility.
- Adjusting the Tension:Use the center screw to customize the blade resistance.
- The Test:Hold the scissors horizontally, lift one handle, and let it go. If it snaps shut completely, it's too loose. If it doesn't move, it's too tight. Ideally, it should close about halfway.
- Cutting (6”):Use the cutting scissors for shaping and clean lines. The 5.5-inch size is perfect for palm-to-palm cutting and detailed precision work.
- Thinning & Blending (32 Teeth):Use the thinning scissors for scissor-over-comb techniques or to soften the ends of hair sections, removing bulk without changing the overall shape.
