The Vita Nova AHA-PHA 7% Skin-Renewing Essence and its specially developed QT (Quick Tap) technique are an ideal choice as a preparatory step in cosmetic treatments when a gentler, more controlled form of acid-based skin renewal is preferred over traditional peeling.
During the treatment, apply the essence using a cotton pad saturated with the product, working with quick, gentle, upward tapping movements. Keep the movements even and controlled. Do not drag the cotton pad across the skin; instead, work over the treatment area using gentle tapping motions. The aim of the QT technique is to ensure even distribution of the essence across the skin's surface while minimizing rubbing and unnecessary mechanical friction.
The essence can be used as an alternative to conventional peeling during the preparation phase of any cosmetic treatment when the goal is to prepare the skin's surface and gently introduce acid-based skin renewal.
When used as a pre-peel step in Vita Nova Signature Peel treatments, the QT technique helps prepare the skin evenly for the subsequent acid treatment.
- How to use at home
During the first week, apply a few drops of the essence to a slightly moistened, thoroughly squeezed-out cotton pad. Using quick, gentle, upward tapping movements, apply the essence to the treatment area.
From the second week onwards, saturate the cotton pad with the essence and continue applying it using the QT (Quick Tap) technique, with gentle, upward tapping movements. This technique minimizes rubbing and unnecessary mechanical irritation.
The skin-renewing essence is recommended for use 1–3 times per week.
